Drainage

The City of Stafford is continually working to improve the drainage within the City. The Public Works Department, along with the City Engineer, continues to study ways to improve areas of the City that are subject to flooding. All the drainage in the City drains into areas that are within the jurisdiction of other governmental entities, and the City is constantly working with these entities to improve drainage. The Street Department is responsible for the maintenance of the roadside ditches, culverts and storm sewers in the City. To report a drainage problem or request maintenance, call the Street Department at 281-499-2626 or complete a Request for Service form.
