Tree Limb Mulching Schedule

The City of Stafford owns a chipping machine used to mulch tree limbs six (6) times a year - on the first Monday in February, April, June, August, October and December. All limbs must be placed at the curb prior to the Monday when mulching is scheduled. Limbs placed earlier than one week prior to the Monday when mulching is scheduled and left for a lengthy period of time may constitute a violation of the City's Code.

Limbs do not have to be cut in any certain length but must not weigh more than one person can carry and not be larger than twelve (12) inches in diameter. Limbs over twelve (12) inches in diameter must be disposed of in a different manner. For additional information concerning tree limb mulching, call the Street Department at 281-499-2626.
