The Stafford
Civic Center is an elegant multipurpose
facility available to the public for rental
for concerts, theatrical productions, banquets,
seminars, public forums, pageants, weddings,
receptions, dances and more. It is located
adjacent to the Stafford Municipal School
District complex, off Staffordshire Road. |

Auditorium
There are three seating levels on the main floor
of the auditorium, with each of the 684 seats
having an excellent view of the stage. The
balcony area is divided into two sections and
contains an arrangement of 216 permanent seating.
The auditorium has carpeted floors and walls,
as well as a suspended acoustical ceiling.
The facility converts to a banquet arrangement,
seating up to 375 people at 52 tables. |

Stage
The stage area is 27' by 39' with a hardwood floor. A 15' by 20' automatic projection screen is located above the stage. The area is equipped with elaborate lighting for productions and includes color stage lights, spot lights, and follow lights. Spacious, well-lit dressing rooms are located to the left and right of the stage and have private restrooms.
Kitchen
The kitchen contains a commercial refrigerator, double oven cook top and microwave
oven and is particularly suited for catering events.
Dance Floor
The Civic Center also houses a dance floor consisting of 94 3' x 3' panels
of northern oak. A dance floor can be adapted to virtually any size up to
848 square feet.
Foyer
The foyer just inside the front entry is 1,200 square feet of polished granite
and is ideal for gatherings prior to events. The area is well designed for
registrations and art shows or exhibits. |

Parking
Ample parking is available in several well-lit concrete parking areas, and
a circular driveway to the entrance facilitates access for the physically
handicapped.

Stafford City Pool

The City's pool is located behind
the Civic Center. It is open from Memorial Day
to Labor Day and accessible
to all City residents for a nominal annual fee
of $7.50.
The pool area also has a beach volleyball sand
court. For information about these facilities,

of Recreation, Susan Ricks, at 281-499-5763.
The City's pool hosts annual swim programs for
all second- and fourth-grade students in the Stafford
Municipal School District.
Annual Fourth of July Celebration
The City's Recreation Director coordinates the
popular 4th of July family celebration which
includes a parade, a midway of carnival-style
games, rides and food, and a dance band. The
2006 patriotic celebration was the City's 31st
consecutive celebration.
